Republican Senators are Crying.

I turned on C-Span 2 today to find Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Al) crying about having to cast a vote on the Ryan (R-Wi)/House Republican plan to kill the elderly and poor, to increase the rate of destruction of the middle class, and increase the income of the top 1% of the country.

The issue drawing the most attention are the provisions to kill Medicare and Medicaid. But these are not the only provisions that should concern all Americans. The Republicans keep pointing to the Simpson/Bowles commission highlighting proposed spending cuts. At the same time the Republicans ignore the calls for tax reform closing the loop holes used by the very elite of this country to in some cases escape any taxes at all or in most cases pay a rate on billions of dollars equal to the same rate as a worker (actually performing labor to earn an income) earning less than $20,000 per year.

My question is: Now that the Republicans are about to achieve the goals that they have been seeking sense the end of the FDR administration why are they running and crying about having to vote on a budget that accomplishes those goals? The Republicans know and in fact have put into place “Think tanks”, taken over news organizations, publishing houses, etc. all designed to provide legitimacy and a of scholarship to their ideas. So again why are they crying and running from this vote?

During his floor speech today Senator Sessions cited a study put failed to tell viewers what organization funded this study it is My suspension it was the Heritage Foundation. When one looks closely at the majority of the studies produced by the Heritage foundation it becomes apparent that these studies could never pass any sort of legitimate peer review. The “Researchers” consistently cite their own studies as supporting authority. They consistently cite other “Institutions” established by the Heritage Foundation as authorities. Theses circular arguments have zero validity. I realize that the Heritage Foundation and it’s projections and analysis has taken the place of the CBO for the Republicans but this self-serving analysis cannot provide legitimacy to the Republican movement to destroy the United States and turn it into a peonage.

Republican Senator Scott Brown (R-Ma) proudly came into office from a special election after the death of Ted Kennedy (D-Ma) proclaiming that he was vote Forty-One against the attempts to reform our current health care system. Senator Brown was only elected after the TEA (Taxed Enough Already) party spent millions of dollars to get him elected. The Ryan budget is the TEA party budget so why is Senator Brown running? Senator Brown stated that he would vote for the Ryan (R-Wi) kill the elderly, disabled, and poor budget and now has changed is position why?

As has been stated in previous posts the Republican agenda is to increase the power of the elites in this country by increasing poverty in this country, transferring revenues from the workers of this country to the sit on My ass class replacing them with bogus bonds on which they intend to default. Notice I said intend to default. The Ryan (R-Wi) is nothing more than another step in the “Conservative/Republican” effort to turn the country into a peonage where the general population are subservient to the Corporations and The moneyed elites.

I for one am looking forward to this vote on the Ryan (R-Wi) poverty increasing, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security destroying budget. The impact of the Ryan plan is not full of unintended consequences but full of planned consequences.

  1. You know what this current crowd of GOP liars want is to turn the United Sates into China, where only a few giant corporations run things, they own the factories, that apartments, the grocery stores, the gas stations, the newspaper and magazine publications, the radio stations, the television stations and you pay them and they get all the benefits, and if you do not like it go jump off cliff. Well some Chinese workers seeing that as individuals that they cannot progress have done just that by committing suicide. The current crowd of GOP liars want to abolish Medicare from the elderly, they want to abolish a woman’s right to choose and have control over her own body, they want to abolish collective bargaining rights, and on top of it all they want to blame the middle class and public sector workers for a recession that they created, while their beloved “Fat cats” continue to pay themselves exorbitant salaries, bonuses, fringe benefits. Yes this is the GOP “Radical Right-Wing Social Engineering” that they dream about. New York was the beginning but the next will be Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and later the other states of our nation. I wonder how many in the GOP senate will now vote for the Ryan Plan, I know a few who will be running, GOOD!
